NB-IoT, a narrowband radio technology, belonging to the category of Low Power Wide Area Network Technologies (LPWAN) is standardized by the 3GPP. NB-IoT focuses especially on indoor IoT devices, featuring ultra low cost and ultra low power.

Interlab Test Solution Device/UICC for NB-IoT USIM / USAT certification testing

The listed test platform 115 of the Interlab Test Solution DEVICE/UICC can be equipped with validated test packages for USIM / USAT applications in NB IoT (LPWAN) networks.

The test case package includes test cases for

      • USIM interaction in NB IoT networks (eFDD) according to 3GPP TS 31.121
      • USAT interaction in NB IoT networks (eFDD) according to 3GPP TS 31.124

The test package covers

    • GCF Work Item # 266 ⇒  for “NB IoT” USIM and USAT

The NB IoT test package for the Interlab Test Solution DEVICE/UICC has been validated for usage with R&S® CMW500. Test platforms for usage with network emulators from other providers are available upon request.
